The short answer

There is no single money line in palmistry. When people say money line or dhan rekha, they usually mean the fate line, the sun line or the small line toward the little finger. Each is read for a different side of work and money.

Which line is the money line?

Different books use the name for different lines, which is why answers online don't match. The three lines most often meant are the fate line, the sun line and the Mercury line.

Palmistry reads money from the whole hand: these lines, the mounts under the fingers and the shape of the hand together. One line on its own says little.

Fate line: work and steady income

The fate line runs up the middle of the palm toward the middle finger. It is read for your work path and how settled you feel in it.

A clear line is read as steady work. A faint or missing line is read as someone who builds their own path, which is common in people who run their own work.

Sun line: recognition and a good name

The sun line is a thinner line running up toward the ring finger. It is read for recognition and joy in your work, which often brings money with it.

Many people have no sun line. That is normal and says nothing bad about your earning.

Mercury line: business and dealing with people

The Mercury line runs up toward the little finger. It is read for business sense, talking and handling money matters.

A full pad under the little finger is read alongside it as a head for business.

What palmistry can't tell you about money

Palmistry is a tradition, not a scientific test of character or the future.

No line can tell you how much you will earn, whether a deal will work or when to invest. For financial decisions, please talk to a qualified adviser.

Read these lines as a picture of how you like to work. In our readings, money timing comes from your kundli, not from the hand alone.
